LeEco Le Pro3 Unlocked Smartphone Price and Spesifications.
LeEco is perhaps the Chinese company that is expanding faster in the last period, offering smartphones and other technology products. Let’s look at their latest top of the range at very competitive prices.
LeEco Le Pro 3 is equipped with the best hardware available at the moment: SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 , quad core with two 2,0 GHz and two 2,35 GHz – accompanied by the Adreno 530 GPU and 4 or 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4 respectively in 32 or 64 GB UFS 2.0 internal memory, unfortunately not expandable.
Connectivity is virtually perfect with WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac , WiFi Hotspot and Tethering, Bluetooth 4.2 , NFC and even infrared transmitter. And there is also the band 20 of the 4G LTE, which, combined with the excellent antenna, guarantees a very good reception.
There is support for two NanoSIMs with Dual SIM Dual Standby technology and the call quality is good for both the audio capsule and the microphone. No problem to report about location, which uses A-GPS, GLONASS and BDS.
Design, Ergonomics & Materials
LeEco Le Pro 3 designed with well-defined but well-laid lines already seen on Le 2 but slightly accentuates the trim on the edges and removes the two polycarbonate inserts at the ends for a truly aluminum monocoque body. And despite its little originality, this design reaffirms itself very well in terms of ergonomics.
The dimensions are 151.4 x 73.9 x 7.5 mm, reflecting a remarkable weight of 175 grams that is felt enough on the wrist. Le Pro 3’s colors are silver, gold or pink.
Taking a physical overview on the smartphone, You will find the power button and the volume bar on the right, infrared transmitter and subwoofer at the top and a trolley for the two nanoSIMs on the left. Below there are two grids, one for the microphone and one for the speaker, surrounding the USB Type-C connector.
The front panel, unlike the 2, is curved 2.5D , but there are still huge black frames around the display. The front design is symmetrical and sees the presence of a notification LED next to the camera while on the bottom there are three backlit capacitive keys, of which the central one carries the logo of LeEco.
Display, Audio & Multimedia
LeEco Le Pro 3 mounts a 5.5-inch IPS panel with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution, for a density of about 403 ppi. The colors are slightly stained and a bit cool, but overall the viewing angles are very good and the brightness of the display fits well at every opportunity.
The calibration can then be finished at software level through four dedicated presets. The touchscreen supports 10 fingers, has good responsiveness and never loses touch, ensuring a great user experience.
The audio has a stereo effect by using the speaker on the bottom and the headphone cap, with a not very high volume but a rich sound. However, there is no such thing as the Le 3.5 mm jack , with a USB Type-C jack adapter included in the package. A solution that personally keeps me excited, but let me decide whether it is important or not.
LeEco Le Pro 3 counts on the same sensors already seen on the 2: 16 megapixel f / 2.0 with 1.12 μm wide pixels at the back, accompanied by a dual flash LED, while 8 megapixels f / 2.2 with 1.4 μm pixels on the front. Video recording reaches up to 4K 30 fps with the main camera while it stops at 720p on the front.
The battery capacity is 4070 mAh Li-Ion under the body. The resulting autonomy is really remarkable, as it has been able to guarantee 6 hours and a half of active screen over 12 hours of use, with more than 3 hours of gaming in Hearthstone, while with a more moderate use never fallen below 20% late night with about 6 hours of active display.
However, you can take advantage of QuickCharge 3.0 Qualcomm Quick Charging, which allows you to fully charge your smartphone in about 2 hours.
The software we tested on LeEco Le Pro 3 was version 5.8.017 of EUI in English, but will soon be available for modified ROMs. The version is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
